To start off with, Shortstop is a maternal-grandson of 5Peruvian Chaccu, let that sink in for a second. When we then mix in the fact that he has a paternal-linage that carries Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Sub-Zero and we have a super pre-potent Herdsire in the making. With him being so closely related to Chaccu we get that intense staple length (which as a previously shorn juvenile at shearing his fleece was over 6 inches), but then adding in the Sub-Zero fineness and CV values and Matrix’s lasting fineness….your head is probably spinning right now too!

His fleece is exceptionally uniform, fine, dense, bright, and very soft! His staple length is above average which is a huge advantage for him.

We think as Shortstop matures he will only get better.
