Awesome Dark Fawn Alpaca Yarn
Shipping & Handling
Product Description
Alpaca yarn that is lovely to the touch is what you get when you purchase Dumplin's yarn. Dumplin has a great feel to her yarn. Her second cria, McGraw,(pictured) had a 16 micron as a yearling. That is the lowest level of micron that you can have for an alpaca, putting him in the "royal" category. He is now a herdsire in Illinois. We aren't sure what Dumplin's micron was at that age, as we purchased her from a farm in Ohio, but we know it is soft. Her first blue ribbon cria, Peaches and Cream,(pictured) was sold to a Missouri farm, where she is now a mom of an equally soft cria.
Dark fawn is a very pretty color, very neutral, and goes with all other colors. Pair this gorgeous color with natural white, or black, for equally stunning looks.
Dumplin's yarn is in 200 yard lengths. It is 2 ply, and weighs about 3 ounces. It is sportweight. So a less tight twist (meaning less heavy), but extremely nice. This yarn would make gorgeous garments. The price is not indicative of quality. You will like the yarn. I have 2 skeins of this yarn left. One is 200 yards and one is about 300 yards. I will sell them both at the same price to the first purchaser.
